Ellen showed her support for Dreamers by posting a picture to Instagram.

She wore a T-shirt that said, “We are all dreamers,” and wrote on the social media platform, “You may say I’m a dreamer. But I’m not the only one,” a reference to John Lennon’s song “Imagine.”

You may say I’m a dreamer. But I’m not the only one. #DreamAct

“Dreamers” is a reference to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program enacted by the Obama Administration in 2012. The program allowed some people who came to the United States as minors without documentation to apply for a two-year period of deferred action from deportation and a work permit.

Donald Trump rescinded the policy in September and gave Congress six months to figure out what to do with the approximately 800,000 enrollees.
