Snowed in? This company is offering free help to folks who ‘want to get plowed’

There’s an upside to the blizzard blasting the East Coast with wind-driven snow and record-breaking “white stuff,” as television anchors providing ’round the clock coverage are prone to say. A company is offering help clearing all that snow to anyone who “wants to get plowed.”

Its fleet of plow drivers have already hit the streets — and they’re doing it for free.

Unfortunately, this service is only available in Boston, Mass. and New Jersey. And it’s up to you whether this part is fortunate or unfortunate, but the company offering this service is an adult entertainment website called PornHub.

“The PornHub team understands that by this time of year, most cities have run up their budget in snow removal,” PornHub Vice President Corey Price told Boston magazine, “and we thought we’d lend a hand in getting our fans plowed.”

PornHub’s snowplows, adorned with the company’s logo right in the middle of their scoops, hit the road as soon as snow started to fall early Tuesday, according to Boston. So if your street is still unplowed, or you own a small business with a parking lot in either Boston or New Jersey, PornHub will dispatch a truck right to you. They will not plow driveways, however.

All you have to do is email [email protected].

That’s right, you’ll be giving an adult entertainment website your email address. You might want to consider whether your resume is updated before providing PornHub with your work email account.

Price told Boston the company hopes to expand to other areas, but didn’t say when.

“Our fans are important to us and we hope to plow any state in need,” said Price.
