A new Coca-Cola commercial is enough to awaken anyone’s thirst, with a hot pool boy at its center, who stirs up a household eager for his attention.

A brother and sister are both shown gazing contentedly at the open shirted beefcake, who is clearly working up quite the sweat. They both get the same bright idea at once: offer him a refreshing Coke, of course.

The siblings race each other in a no-holds-barred, knock down, drag-out fight to be the first one to reach him, only to find they have been beaten to the punch by yet another admirer from within their own home.

“The story also includes a wink that touches on our point of view regarding diversity and inclusion,” she added. “We are managing culturally relevant messages organically within our spots, not as the main subject of the story, but as subtext.”

The commercial is also a representation, she said, of the company’s stance on equality.

“We strive for diversity, inclusion and equality in our business, and support these rights in society through our work.”
