A gathering to protest North Carolina’s new law overturning protections for LGBT people and mandating that transgender people use the restroom of their birth gender took a unique turn on Sunday. Hundred of people came together outside of the Governor Pat McCrory’s mansion to sing “Let Us Pee,” a twist on the Beatles song “Let It Be.”

The “Triangle Families against HB2” event lasted about two hours according to the Centre Daily Times as passing motorists honked in support.
