Boy George has made the surprising(ish) announcement that he slept with Prince.
George joined The U.K.’s The Voice as a coach this season alongside Paloma Faith, will.i.am and Ricky Wilson, replacing Tom Jones.
During the blind auditions, the judges were trying to woo a contestant by one-upping each other’s past musical collaborations.
During a live taping, George boasted, “I have duetted with some of the greatest soul singers in history including Luther Vandross and Smokey Robinson,” prompting Paloma Faith to come back with, “Well OK, if we’re throwing big soul names out there I’ve performed with Prince.”

“Forget that, darling,” George quickly retorted. “I’ve slept with Prince.”
will.i.am high-fived George as the audience laughed in shock at the revelation, but the show’s producers weren’t quite as amused.
They halted taping to have a private conversation with George, and when the show resumed, he announced that he actually hadn’t slept with Prince after all, and had merely had a Prince poster on his wall.
Prince has previously shared this sage Jehovah’s Witness wisdom on the subject homosexuality:
“God came to earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever, and he just cleared it all out. He was, like, ‘Enough.’”
