SANTIAGO, Chile — Lawmakers in Chile are expected to introduce a bill Wednesday aimed at extending marriage rights to same-sex couples in the South American country.
The Civil Marriage Act currently defines marriage as between a man and a woman, but the new bill would amend the law to define marriage as between two people.
The bill will be introduced in the House of Deputies.
