On Friday night we reported on Cassidy Lynn Campbell, a 16-year-old transgender teen in Orange County, Calif., who made history when she was crowned Homecoming Queen.
Although Cassidy received cheers from her classmates and school officials, she also received a devastating outpouring of negative feedback on and transphobic comments on social media and on her YouTube page, where she has been documenting her transition.
