Ayanbadejo uses Super Bowl victory platform to champion marriage equality

The Respect for Marriage Coalition on Monday released this video featuring Super Bowl Champion and Baltimore Ravens Linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo speaking out for marriage equality as part of its new #Time4Marriage campaign.

On the heels of the Ravens’ Super Bowl victory, Ayanbadejo is using his platform to champion the freedom to marry for gay and lesbian couples.

Ayanbadejo has been advocating for marriage rights since 2009.

The Respect for Marriage Coalition is a partnership of more than 80 civil rights, faith, health, labor, business, legal, LGBT, student, and women’s organizations working together to end the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and grow support for the freedom to marry. The Coalition is co-chaired by Freedom to Marry and the Human Rights Campaign.
