Kobe Bryant headlines Lakers’ diversity PSA one week after ‘faggot’ outburst

Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers have created a new public service announcement video promoting diversity.

The video comes just one week after Bryant lashed out at a referee during a nationally televised game, calling him a “fucking faggot” after receiving a technical foul.

Bryant kicks of the video with, “There are all kinds of different people in the world. That’s what makes the world special.” Watch:

Bryant later issued an apology and was fined $100,000 by the National Basketball Association for the outburst.

Bryant, reportedly the NBA’s highest paid player with a 2011 salary in excess of $25 million, said he planed to appeal the $100,000 fine.
