HONOLULU -- A former child model can drop his lawsuit accusing "X-Men" director Bryan Singer of sex abuse in Hawaii and has the option of refiling it later, a federal judge ruled Wednesday. Michael Egan III said in a previous court filing that he wanted to dismiss the lawsuit, not because it lacks merit but because he can't find a new lawyer to represent him.

HONOLULU -- Lawyers for a former child model who is accusing "X-Men" director Bryan Singer of sex abuse said Tuesday they want to get off the case because their relationship with the accuser has deteriorated. Attorneys Jeff Herman and Mark Gallagher filed a motion in U.S. District Court in Honolulu asking to withdraw as counsel for Michael Egan III.

PHILADELPHIA -- A judge in Pennsylvania dismissed the last of five sex-abuse lawsuits filed against the Emmy-winning puppeteer who voiced the "Sesame Street" character Elmo. The ruling did not weigh the merits of the claims but said 25-year-old accuser Sheldon Stephens filed suit too late against actor Kevin Clash.

HONOLULU -- A former aspiring actor and model withdrew his lawsuit alleging a former TV executive sexually abused him during trips to Hawaii in 1999. Attorneys for Michael Egan III filed papers Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Honolulu voluntarily dismissing the case against David Neuman.

Egan also sued two other men in separate federal court lawsuits in Hawaii Monday, claiming they also abused him on trips there.
