Transgender teacher called ‘worse than gay’ sues Catholic school over firing

A transgender teacher is suing a New York City Catholic school claiming he was fired after notifying school officials that he was transitioning from male to female. Mark Krolikowski -- who, according to his attorney prefers male pronouns and to be referred to as Mr. K by his students -- alleges in a lawsuit filed late last year, that he was called "worse than gay" before being wrongfully terminated.

QUEENS, N.Y. -- A prominent figure in the local gay community died Thursday after being removed from life support. Lou Rispoli, 62, died from injuries sustained in a savage, early morning attack last week.

Bisexual student sent home after refusing to change ‘I enjoy vagina’ t-shirt

QUEENS, N.Y. -- A Queens high school sophomore who self identifies as bisexual, was sent home Tuesday, after school administrators deemed that the “I enjoy vagina” T-shirt she was wearing was a distraction.
