Homophobia’s cruel Mothers Day

Sunday, May 19, 2013
despair
I can not help but be in awe of the horrible force that homophobia still exerts in our world. It is the force that inspires a mob to destroy a teenage girl, it is the power that drives a family to abandon a daughter at a time when she needs them most, and, worst of all, it is a hatred that through its destruction can turn the brightest, most unconditional love a human being can experience in on itself and into a dark and evil grief that devours every iota of life...

A Mother’s Day Card to all LGBT parents

Sunday, May 12, 2013
mothers-day

A Solemn Mother’s Day

Sunday, May 13, 2012
jameys-funeral
When the dawn breaks this Mother's Day, there will be sons, and daughters who will have made plans to treat their Mums to special dinners, maybe breakfast in bed, or just take them someplace special. Countless flowers, candies, and yes, even jewelry will be bestowed in gratitude by children in a showing of deep love and gratitude for all that their Mums mean in their lives. Yet, for some mother's, the day will not hold a special meaning at all. Their will be no gifts, no special remembrances or displays of affection and love. There will be an empty place at the dinner table and even larger emptiness in the hearts of those mothers who have lost their children to suicide or bullying...
