Loudoun County, Va., officials address allegations against hate group leader

LEESBURG, Va. -- The Loudoun, Va., Board of Supervisors on Tuesday commented on allegations that Supervisor Eugene Delgaudio (R-Sterling) used county resources for political gain and that he has engaged in questionable campaign fund raising practices.

On Wednesday’s edition of “Focal Point,” Bryan Fischer cited the arrest of a protocol officer at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida for allegedly trying to entice a 17-year-old boy into sexual activity to declare that, thanks to to the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, we can “expect to see more instances of pedophilia now in the United States military.”

On Friday, FRC’s second in command – Executive Vice President Jerry Boykin – appeared on the Glenn Beck Program and called the SPLC an “anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-Semitic, Marxist organization.” Continuing, he said that the SPLC is an “evil group of people” who “are dangerous.”

WASHINGTON — Floyd Lee Corkins II, 28, of Herndon, Va., has been charged with assault with intent to kill while armed, and interstate transportation of a firearm and ammunition as a result of Wednesday’s shooting incident at the Family Research Council headquarters in Washington.

CAROL STREAM, Ill. -- The anti-gay Christian group Illinois Family Institute has launched another campaign against LGBT Americans, telling parents to remove their children from classrooms led by any teacher who is gay or lesbian, or is a faculty sponsor of a gay-straight alliance, or who has utilized LGBT-inclusive textbooks, or offers a "safe" haven for LGBT students in their classrooms.

Tennessee Democrats: Primary winner is a member of anti-gay hate group
