More than 40 groups participated in Sunday's LGBT pride parade in Asbury Park, N.J., as spectators were treated to the rhythm of marching bands, chants of "We love our LGBT," and groups decked out rainbow attire. Organizers and community members say this year's pride events in N.J. are more meaningful to the gay community because of the passage of same-sex marriage in 2013.

Several N.J. cities extend hours to accept marriage license applications

NEWARK, N.J. -- City halls in several New Jersey cities and towns are adding extra office hours over the weekend to accept marriage license applications now that same-sex marriage has been given the green light by the state's highest court.
