SEATTLE, Wash. -- A Maryland teen, who earlier this year became the openly gay scout awarded the highest rank of Eagle Scout, was in Seattle on Wednesday to deliver more than 125,000 signatures from his petition urging to suspend donations to the Boy Scouts of America until it lifts its ban on gay and lesbian leaders.

Pastor Steven Andrew of USA Christian Ministries is leading a boycott of companies which endorsed a marriage equality bill in Washington state, including Google, Starbucks and Amazon, charging them with “working against Jesus and leading people to sin and to possibly go to hell.”

Christian cartoonist’s homophobic calendar yanked from Barnes & Noble, Amazon websites

American Christian cartoonist Joe King’s calendar, "I’m Not Gay, I’m Just a Sissy," drew a firestorm of criticism from the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) and LGBT bloggers, who this week denounced the calendar and its sale through internet retail giants Amazon and Barnes & Noble, both of whom have since removed the calendar from their sales offerings.
