Donald Trump says he’ll overturn same-sex marriage decision if elected

On Sunady, GOP frontrunner Donald Trump told Fox News Sunday that, if elected, he would appoint judges who would reverse the Supreme Court’s landmark decision to legalize same-sex marriage nationwide.

“It has been ruled upon,’ he said. “It has been there. If I’m elected I would be very strong in putting certain judges on the bench that maybe could change things, but they have a long way to go. I disagree with the court in that it should have been a states’ rights issue.”

Trump, who has been married three times, is currently in the lead in the Republican field by a large margin, and is fully expected to win today’s Iowa caucuses.
