Following a New York town hall meeting, Republican presidential candidate was shaking hands with the smallish crowd when one attendee piped up to ask, “Do you think I chose to be gay?”
The attendee, who ABC News reports was clad in a T-shirt promoting a nearby LGBT community center, said, “I have a quick question. Do you think I chose to be gay?”
“Did you choose to be gay?” Carson parroted.
“Yes, do you think I chose to be gay?”

“That’s a long conversation,” Carson said, pausing to pose for a photo with a supporter.
“I think you’re full of sh*t,” she responded with a smile.
Then she walked away.
“Okay,” Carson responded, and that was that.
(Perhaps it’s not part of “a long conversation,” after all.)
Carson then went on to pose for more pictures.
