Time magazine was already getting dragged for naming Donald Trump as its Person of the Year, because people still mistake the title as an award.
Now the magazine is having to answer to a conspiracy theory that the editors intentionally gave the president-elect a pair of horns with the “M” from “TIME.”
The magazine denies this charge, saying it was “coincidental,” but Twitter is unsurprisingly having a field day.

Donald Trump is Time magazine person of the year. Are those subliminal devil horns or Bugs Bunny rabbit ears? pic.twitter.com/kJv2otTNtL

Ok so it's probably just me but has Time magazine given Donald Trump the Glasgow traffic cone treatment or Devil horns? pic.twitter.com/FCXdGNTmxi

Maybe Time is just getting its revenge for Trump’s insulting tweet from a few years ago, when he was displeased about not making its list of most influential people.

The Time Magazine list of the 100 Most Influential People is a joke and stunt of a magazine that will, like Newsweek, soon be dead. Bad list!
