Spanish shoe company Pride Shoes has launched a new sneaker for the hirsute set and men who love their guys big and burly. Owner Alberto Dominguez says he started the company four months ago after spending a year researching and developing the sneakers.
Available for pre-order now online, the shoes will set you back about $87 if you buy before they hit stores. The paw covers will cost $110 normally. The sneakers are currently in production and will be available by the end of September.
Dominguez specifically points out that shoes are not made in Asia by overworked and exploited labor.
“We make 100% of our shoes in Spain – no Asia, no kids, no tricks… professionals making high-quality, fair trade shoes. We think is possible to succeed making things here in Europe; in this case in Spain.”
A percentage of the profits will be given to an LGBTQ charity. The company also offers rainbow sneakers.
