Sentenced: Florida man who murdered two intended male sex slaves

TAMPA, Fla. — A Florida man already serving a 40-year prison sentence has been sentenced to life in prison for killing two men whom authorities say he and a partner had planned to keep as sex slaves.
The Tampa Bay Times reports that 49-year-old Scott Paul Schweickert was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to two counts of first-degree murder.

Authorities say Schweickert and Steven Lorenzo met Jason Galehouse and Michael Wachholtz, both 26, at a gay nightclub in Tampa on separate nights in December 2003. The victims were lured back to Lorenzo’s home, where they were eventually killed. Galehouse was dismembered and dumped in the trash, and Wachholtz’s body was left abandoned in a Jeep.

Schweickert has agreed to testify against Lorenzo, who is already serving a 200-year sentence in federal prison for drugging nine men.
