Bisexual actress Drew Barrymore may be in negotiations with Warner Bros. and Ellen DeGeneres’ A Very Good Production company for a new talk show, according to Variety.
It wouldn’t be her first TV show with the companies—Barrymore also narrates the upcoming NBC reality series “First Dates,” which follows couples on their, well, first dates.
While no one is commenting on the record, Variety’s sources say that if the show materialized, DeGeneres would serve as executive producer. Barrymore has done some television producing herself, serving as the EP for Esquire’s “Knife Fight” and VH1’s “Tough Love.”
Though the actress has been more private about her sexuality in recent years, Barrymore told Contact Magazine in 2003 that she identifies as bisexual: “I have always considered myself bisexual….I think a woman and a woman together are beautiful, just as a man and a woman together are beautiful.”
