Video surfaced over the weekend that features an irate mother of twelve stridently storming around a Target department store with her beleaguered family in tow, raising hell and informing customers that “the devil will rape your children” over the store’s bathroom policy, which lets transgender people use the bathroom that best matches their gender identity.
Ever since the chain first made the announcement — the CEO told customers they should feel welcome to use whatever bathroom they like — right-wingers and militant Christians have been up in arms and having a freaky field day.
Target’s decision was a direct response to the furor over North Carolina’s House Bill 2, which claims everyone must use the bathroom that matches the gender on their birth certificate.
The video, posted to YouTube on Saturday, features the caption: “With Bible in hand and family in tow this mother warns target of their evil evil sins.”

Clutching a Bible in hand and wearing a flowery purple sack, the woman’s Oscar moment goes thus:
Attention Target customers! Do not be deceived, Target would have you believe what their Mother’s Day displays that they love mothers and children! This is a deception! This is not love and they’ve proven it by opening their bathrooms to perverted men!
“I’m a mother of 12 and I’m very disgusted by this wicked practice.
“Target does not protect mothers and children. Mothers, get your children out of this store. Mothers, have enough decency to get out of this store, it’s a dangerous place. This is not loving. What Target has done is very hateful.”
