A person who identifies as asexual typically has absolutely no desire for sexual activity whatsoever.

About 1% of the population identify as asexual.

The people interviewed in the below video talk about the unique frustrations they face, particularly when they find themselves interested in someone — but not sexually attracted.

The interviewees touch upon what it’s like to “come out” as asexual, and how that compares to coming out as gay or lesbian.
