Mickey Rourke: ‘Pacquiao’s comments are outta line — and I’m a little gay myself’

TMZ has posted footage of actor and retired boxer Mickey Rourke calling out Manny Pacquiao’s antigay comments.

This week, the celebrated boxer came under considerable fire — and lost a lucrative contract with Nike — for stating that animals are better than gay people “because they recognize gender differences,” and “if you have male-to-male or female-to-female (relationships), then [gay] people are worse than animals.”

Asked what he felt about these comments, Rourke responded, “I think they were wrong and out of place. And I think that we all gotta watch what we say… That was from the Old Testament, so you got to give him a little bit of room. I got a lot of gay friends… I’m a little bit gay myself.”

To demonstrate this point, he then makes the impromptu decision to kiss a man standing nearby.
