This week, GOP Presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz’s father Rafael, a pastor, spoke aat the antigay World Congress of Families 2015 in Salt Lake City.
Asked whether there’s a link between LGBTQ people and pedophilia, he responded that it’s just a matter of time before the LGBTQ community tries to normalize the psychiatric disorder.
“I think that’s the next thing that they’re going to push, to try to legalize pedophiles,” Cruz offered. “Pedophilia, you have all these laws to forget about – we have laws on the books about statutory rape. You have to basically throw away the statutory rape laws to legalize pedophilia.”
