Since revealing he’s gay last week, Olympian Gus Kenworthy has felt the wave of support that accompanies a high-profile coming out in 2015 — messages poured in congratulating him.
But this is still the internet, and trolls are to be expected.
Prexton Vice (aka @MmmPrexton) tried throwing a wrench in Gus’ good news with an age-old obnoxious question: Who’s the woman in the relationship?
He posted his tired query on Twitter:

But Gus wasn’t having it. He fired back with the perfect response:
Elaborating on his decision to come out last week, the 24-year-old said, “Part of the reason I had such a difficult time as a kid was that I didn’t know anyone in my position and didn’t have someone to look up to, who’s footsteps I could follow in.
“I hope to be that person for a younger generation, to model honesty and transparency and to show people that there’s nothing cooler than being yourself and embracing the things that make you unique.”
