The New Civil Rights Movement reports that U.S. District Judge David Bunning just ordered that Rowan County clerk Kim Davis be released from jail. On Thursday, Bunning placed Davis in contempt of court, ordering her to stay in jail until she agreed to do her job and give marriage licenses to same-sex couples or leave her position.

So far, Davis has done neither. Bunning has insisted that Davis stop interfering with the distribution of marriage licenses:
