Right-wing reporter Ben Shapiro files lawsuit against transgender reporter Zoey Tur

Breitbart Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro has filed assault charges against Zoey Tur, the transgender reporter he provoked by asking her, “What are your genetics, sir?”

Tur responded by placing her hand on the back of Shapiro’s neck and saying, “You cut that out right now, or you’ll go home in an ambulance.”

“That seems mildly inappropriate for a political discussion,” Shapiro replied.

“You just called me sir.”

“It’s not rude to call someone who is biologically a male a male.”

“You’re consumed with hatred,” Tur later tells Shapiro. “You’re a little man. It’s okay… He can be what he wants. Little boy.”

“I come from a basic biological reality,” Shapiro argues. “It’s not a moral thing. If someone wants to mutilate their body, that’s their choice. Cutting off your testicles is mutilation.”

The altercation took place during a panel discussion about Caitlyn Jenner’s recent Arthur Ashe Courage Award on Dr. Drew on Call. In his police report –– which Shapiro filed with the Los Angeles Police Department on Sunday morning –– he claims Tur continued threatening him after their appearance, a claim which she has denied.
