JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson, Wyo., town council has formally added protections for LGBT people to its hiring policies.
The Jackson Hole News & Guide reported Friday the changes formalize a practice the city has followed for several years.
The council voted 3-0 in favor of the changes on May 27.
Town Council Don Frank says adding protections to the policy manual “is in the finer spirit of liberty and justice.”
