Actor and former child star turned Christian activist Kirk Cameron says Christians need to clean up their own act before condemning same-sex marriage.
Cameron, who tours the country leading marriage seminars, says “fornicators and adulterers” are “the bigger problem,” and that Christians are too distracted by the issue of “redefining marriage.”
“If the people sitting in the pews are fornicators and adulterers, the church will destroy marriages much more quickly than those outside the church,” Cameron tells AL.com, in an new interview.
“When God’s people mock marriage, God doesn’t take that lightly,” he says.

In that same interview, Cameron said homosexuality was “unnatural” and “destructive to foundations of civilization.”
