Savage talks marriage, Supreme Court decisons, Santorum in 2016

Dan Savage, author of the new book, “American Savage: Insights, Slights and Fights on Faith, Sex, Love and Politics,” speaks with MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts about his new book, as well as the upcoming U.S. Supreme Court decisions on the Defense of Marriage Act and California’s Proposition 8, the 2008 voter-approve ban on same-sex marriage.

Savage also comments on speculation that former U.S. Rick Santorum will run for president again in 2016, which Savage says would be “a wonderful turn of events” for whomever the Democratic nominee turns out to be.
