From the Anti-Defamation League:
“Take just 80 seconds of your time to watch this powerful video, which imagines a world without racism, homophobia or anti-Semitism — a world in which the hate violence that took the lives of Martin Luther King Jr., Anne Frank, Daniel Pearl, Matthew Shepard and others did not happen.
“Imagine what these individuals could have continued to contribute to society if bigotry, hate and extremism had not cut their lives tragically short.”

This is possible. Granted, all of the people we’ve lost so far might not come back to do all of this; Matthew Shepard is somewhere better than here. But a world like this? This is more than possible, and we can do this. We can’t give up.
Very cute…
tears
If only it could be so.
I read the book his mother wrote and couldn’t image the pain this family endoured, God Bless the Shepard family!!!
Powerful video, and very sad to see, together, all the lost voices for change.
“Imagine a world without bigotry” ..I dream of that every day
this is nice and all but candles and peace vigils and all that nicey-nice stuff just ain’t gonna work with some people…violence will
…we care about ‘what is and what will’ opposed to what wont.
Always make me tear up to wonder what Matthew would have offered the world. The rest at least had a chance to make an effect. He never did.
hard to watch. wishing doesn’t help. BUT…maybe we could start being the change we want to see in the world!
Maybe one day
Matthew the inspiration to the world always in our hearts and in our efforts to make this world a safer place for the LGBT community!
