Bryan Fischer is not at all impressed by the Republican National Committee’s “autopsy” of what has gone wrong with the GOP leading to back-to-back election losses, and is especially miffed about findings that the party’s hostility to gay rights is turning off younger voters.
As Fischer sees it, it is “idiotic” for the GOP to consider changing its message in an effort to win over ignorant and naive young people who don’t understand the dangers posed by homosexuality.
“They don’t need to be pandered to,” Fischer proclaimed, “they need to be educated. We don’t pander to the least mature, least intelligent, least informed, least experienced, least educated members of our movement; we educate them.”

The only “danger” in giving LGBT people their rights is that they will, hopefully, supplant and surpass bigots like this one in being heard and accepted. And that’s not a danger for anyone but the haters in the country.

The only ignorant and naive people in this mess are people who think like him. They need to get all of the old backward minded people out, and get in fresh people with fresh minds that are in touch with the way things work in society today. That would help us move forward, and make way for better things to come. These old geezers are still trying to run things like they did 40 and 50 years ago, when all of this mess was the norm. I can’t speak for everyone else, but I’m over it, and ready to see things change.
