Home furnishings retailer Crate & Barrel is the latest national retailer to prominently feature a same-sex couple in its advertising.
Its latest catalog, “January Inspiration 2013” catalog includes an “Us & Always” page of ideas for spending a romantic night at home, featuring this pasta-loving male couple.
“Spend a Saturday night at home, cooking together, dining together. Music, candlelight, and a good bottle of wine, and you can have the table as long as you like.”
Recently, JC Penney, The Gap, and Urban Outfitters have all featured same-sex couples prominently in their catalogs and advertising, each campaign of which has caught the ire of the anti-gay One Million Moms.
