To mark the occasion of his second term in office, the White House has released President Barack Obama’s new, official portrait. The photo was taken last month by White House photographer Pete Souza in the Oval Office.

On Sunday, in two separate, private ceremonies, Obama and Vice President Joe Biden were officially sworn into office, marking the start of their second term in office.
