Here’s Denver Nuggets star Kenneth Faried, appearing in a video speaking out for civil unions in Colorado.

Faried grow up in a household with two loving parents — his moms:

“Nobody can ever tell me I can’t have two moms because I really do…They showed me what commitment is all about. I look at them, and I think, ‘Wow. That’s amazing.’ They’re amazing to me.”

The video is produced by One Colorado, a statewide advocacy organization “that works to achieve and protect equality and opportunity for LGBT Colorado residents and their families.
