Perkins: If Supreme Court legalizes same-sex marriage, it could lead to ‘revolution’

While discussing the string of election night victories for marriage equality on Thursday, Tony Perkins declared that if the Supreme Court legalizes it Christian conservatives will never accept it because, like abortion, they know that “it’s unnatural for two men to be married.”

If the Court strikes down the anti-gay marriage amendments passed by various states over overrules the will of the people, Perkins warned that it could lead to “revolution” and “just break this nation apart”:

Perkins is president of the Family Research Council, an organization designated as an anti-gay “hate group” by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
