Tuesday, May 22, 2012
Despite the bipartisanship that characterized the movement of civil unions through the Colorado state Senate, despite such broad, overwhelming support from Coloradans, the issue has torn apart the state’s legislative process, garnering national attention not for our courageous advancement of equality but for the mockery that has been made of the democratic process. Tyler Clementi gets no justice

Tuesday, May 22, 2012
Tyler Clementi was bullied to death and the Judge heard guilty 288 times, yet sentenced his convicted antagonist to 30 days, 300 hours of community service and a $10,000 donation. While I do not doubt that Ravi was put through a measure of hell, knowing that he could be sentenced to a maximum of ten years and be the subject of deportation, I ask why this Judge even bothered to sentence him, at all. Religion stops the world with gay abandon

Sunday, May 20, 2012
There has also been tolerance shown towards those remaining beliefs, customs and primitive explanations for existence, as long as they seemed harmless. However, recently those beliefs and customs have become rituals of terror in the lives of many people, in nearly all nations; from bombings to bullying. Saturday, May 19, 2012
I must say that I am getting a kick out of reading and watching those on the right, particularly the religious right, predict how African-Americans will desert President Obama come election day due to his support of marriage equality. It’s hilarious to me to read the right-wing publications and blogs give room to a supposed angry black pastor who whines about how Obama has betrayed the black community, of course omitting the fact that said pastor never really supported Obama in the first place...
