Documentary about religion-based LGBT prejudice

Let Your Light Shine, a documentary about religion-based LGBT prejudice, is looking for funding help on Kickstarter to continue filming and editing. The film probes the cross section of evangelical Christianity and the gay rights movement. LGBT alumni from Wheaton College, the “Harvard of Christian colleges,” are interviewed about their activism work as the group One Wheaton.

The filmmakers further intend to interview prominent scholars of religious history and historians of the gay civil rights movement to learn how these stories intersect. Visit their Kickstarter page to donate and watch the trailer.
