In order to beef up the reliably poor attendance evidenced by their own rally photos, the National Organization For Marriage adorns its newly-launched New Hampshire for Marriage site with a collage featuring a small photo from their own effort combined with an unidentified shot of a sweepingly large crowd:
Now, being a NOM geek, I knew right away that the bottom right shot was bogus. And being on to their typically duplicitous games, I know that this organization will go quite far in the effort to put one over on America. But quite frankly, even I’m shocked by how far this one goes:
Yes, that’s right: They lifted a Reuters photo. From another state. From more than three years ago. Featuring a man who stands against NOM’s agenda in most every way possible.
Seriously — who does that?!

Seriously is anyone surprised at this? Really! Pretty much everything out of their mouths is based on lies! I am being generous with the “pretty much”, should have said “everything”!
The people who support NOM are defiantly not smart enough to figure this one out.
which comes first…the chicken (Faux News) or the egg (NOM)
UN B LEEV A BUL!!!!!!!
can’t they be reported to the cops for this? i’m pretty sure reuters copyrights their images…
I believe this is called fraud.
Yep, I would be very surprised if they can’t be sued for breach of copyright – and Obama could possibly sue them for misuse of his image, there are several ways of going about that, the most fun of which would be defamation (association with NOM hurts his reputation)….. Oh dear God I want that to happen
BAHAHAHA
Reuters should sue them for stealth of copyrights, plagiarism and use of the picture out of context. That would show them right.
Hit ‘em with a defamation suit Obama!
Nice catch!!! Lol that makes NOM look BEYOND pathetic. I wonder how long they will keep that BS up before they realize how bad of an idea it was?
This doesn’t surprise me at all. These brainless invertebrates, like the Reich Wing, are so desperate in their desire to be believed that they will resort to ANYTHING to get people to listen to them. The Jehovah’s Witnesses do the same damned thing, when they show huge stadiums full of Witnesses for their annual ‘convention’. It’s all just so pathetic
Yes, they can and SHOULD be sued….These photographs are copyrighted. Someone step up to the plate!
