A group of Democratic United States Senators have released their “It Gets Better” video, containing their message of hope and encouragement for LGBT youth.
Watch:
The video features U.S. Senators Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.), Chris Coons (D-Del.), Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), Al Franken (D-Minn.), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), Mark Udall (D-Colo.), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.), and Ron Wyden (D-Ore.).
The “It Gets Better Project,” which has since compiled more than 10,000 online videos, was launched by Seattle-based activist and author Dan Savage and his husband Terry Miller, in response to the increasing number of teen suicides of kids who were bullied for their perceived sexual orientation.

Pandering to a voter demographic. I don’t see most of these people going out of their way to help us. They need to understand that they need to help us find equality to help alienated LGBT youth, not just make youtube videos that require no commitment. Not impressed.
Every step counts and if it saves one life i am impressed and it is positive to see this when we see Michele Bachmann’s husband calling gays barbarians that need to be disciplined. Does more need to happen yes.
I don’t know, I’m an “alienated LGBT youth” and when politicians are willing to make my life harder and then tell me I shouldn’t have a hard time I get pissed, not inspired or touched. If you really support LGBT you’ll vote with them. Sometimes doing the least possible is worse than doing nothing at all. It’s a salp to the face.
**slap
total pandering
Want to make it better? Stop making videos and making some laws that give equality.
