I wonder why they haven’t moved to Canada or places that have it legalised.
Oh my gosh, i just love them, they are so cute!!!!!!!! :)
Aaaww! Poor guys!
awww their adorable! i hope they get their right to marry soon!
They could come up to Canada and get married here! I think it is a shame that they cannot get married at homet though!
Over 60 years together!! Kudos to them! They should be poster boys for the religious right, upstanding examples of fidelity to us all!
they deserve it! :]

Real love lasts forever opposition
Shared, and like I said, they are simply so cute… :) I really hope they’ll get to get married and celebrate a lot of anniversaries :)
Wow! Come on, Cuomo…..let’s get this done already!
That’s so sad and so sweet. I really hope they get to marry they’ve already been together longer then most.
Come on, NY! this is long overdue!
Straight couples can have a “marriage” that lasts for a few months but a couple who has been together for 61 YEARS can’t have the same right? It’s just wrong. I hope they can live their dream in the very near future…their story made me cry! Everyone deserves to be happy. <3
I think they should be able too. They have been together longer than most straight couples. Now that’s love.
so sweet.
<3
See, that just proves that True Love can exist in all forms. C’mon, people, we NEED to do something about Gay marriage. Wanting and saying that you are going to do something about it is great, but actually DOING something about it is another. We’re all in this together, and by dammit, we can make this happen if we want to.
that couple are so sweat together.
beautiful. Simply beautiful.
That is truly amazing. They should be allowed to marry. True love is an amazing thing that so few are lucky to find. I hope they can wed!!!!
Even if they can’t get married, they are the luckiest people in the world, most people gay or straight cannot find love like that. They are truly blessed and I do hope they are able to get married.
Wow. How often do you come across that? Being through so much together for so long. Let them wed. They deserve it!
NY will pass Marriage, they will marry, and in 1 year …dee-vorse!!! lol
sad. soon they will but too LATE.
they shouldnt have to move where its legal, they have every right to get married where they live. The u.s.a should really take a leaf out of the uk’s book when it comes to human rights and gay equality, because so far its seriously lacking on both fronts.
Come on New York, let them get married! 61 years of love!
Oh please, let them get married before it’s too late! They are just so cute! Much love to both of them and I hope that someday I can marry the woman I love.
New York should have been the first state to legalize gay marriage! Such a rich history of gay people in the theatre and the arts in general. Shame, shame!!! Time to do this! Unfortunatly, I live in Texas, and will never live to see the law passed here.
AWWWW man…I love these two guys!!! I am waiting for the law to pass so my woman and I can get married IN NEW YORK!!! This is the definition of TRUE LOVE!!! If you are reading this, John and Richard….SEND US AN INVITATION TO THE WEDDING!!! xoxoxox
