Is Spike-TV’s ‘Blue Mountain State’ the next guilty gay pleasure?


Move over “Jersey Shore,” the new, original comedy series “Blue Mountain State,” may soon boast an even bigger gay following.

The football-themed series focuses on what it’s like being a freshman at national champion Blue Mountain State, and follows three incoming freshman in a big-time, Midwestern college football program.

But there seems to be an underlying homo-erotic theme to “BMS,” begging the question, just who is the show’s target demographic?
