Levi Johnston: ‘gay icon’ says gays are people too (video)

levi-johnston-playgirlOn Monday night, Levi Johnston appeared on the Joy Behar Show to talk about his new roll as a “gay icon.”

Behar asked Johnston how it feels to be a gay icon from a “conservative background,” and observed that he seems “to be very comfortable being a gay icon.”

Johnston mentions that “growing up in Wasilla… I’ve never seen a gay guy in Wasilla,” but added “you know, they’re people too. It doesn’t matter to me, more fans, it’s great.”

What are your thoughts, is Johnston really a “gay icon?” (Comments welcome!)
